First Parish of Westwood is opening its annual Pumpkins With A Purpose pumpkin patch, to both picture-takers and pickers beginning Saturday, October 12th.

The pumpkin patch will be open weekends and as follows:

• Fridays starting Oct. 18 from 2PM to 5PM
• Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM
• Sundays from 11:30 AM to 5 PM
• Monday, October 14 from 10 AM to 5 PM
• Week of Halloween from 2 PM to 5 PM

Net proceeds from pumpkin purchases will fund organizations and local charities. Past recipients have included New Life Furniture Bank, Lifeworks, Rosie's Place, Global Smile Foundation, Greater Boston Food Bank, Common Cathedral, Community Chaplaincy, and others.
