This week's highlights in meetings in Westwood's town government include:
Monday, Dec. 5th: Select Board discusses opening the 2023 Annual Town Meeting Warrant and a FY 2024 budget overview
Tuesday, Dec. 6th: Dedham-Westwood Water District discusses PFAS pilotingÂ
Wednesday Dec. 7th: Finance and Warrant Commission discusses subcommittee process and assignments
Thursday, Dec. 8th: Commission on Disability discusses voting access and inclusion in town recreation programs
Select Board Meeting and Public Hearing via Zoom, Monday, December 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Select Board will discuss opening the 2023 Annual Town Meeting Warrant, the third quarter capital release of funds, a FY 2024 budget overview, and extending the term of the Interim Town Treasurer, among other topics. It will hold public hearings on all license renewals. Westwood Early Childhood Council Advisory Council Quarterly Meeting in person, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. On the agenda are museum passes and council expenses, parent-child programs, financial assistance for preschoolers, new initiatives for 2023 including social and social-emotional event offerings, and volunteer opportunities. The meeting will be held in the lower level conference room of Wentworth Hall.
Dedham-Westwood Water District General Business Meeting in person or via Zoom, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Discussion will include financials and Warrant, business operating reports, an update on PFAS piloting at Bridge Street and White Lodge Treatment Plants, actions on water service line inventory and security upgrades, among other items. Council on Aging (COA) Board Meeting in person, Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The board will discuss the COA's basket fundraiser, updates on a new van and new driver hours, and updates on the tax work off program, holiday giving, and a COA nurse discussion. This meeting will be held at Westwood Senior Center at 60 Nahatan Street.
Finance and Warrant Commission Meeting via Zoom, Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. As of this posting, the agenda contains one item for discussion - 2023 subcommittee process and assignments. For information on how to join, click here.
